Deliciously Powerful Collection
The Collection belongs to the women’s market and the topics within the Collection may be designed as keynote addresses, luncheons, and breakout sessions.
Women as Leaders takes the audience on a span of emotions from tears to laughter, encouragement to feedback, and support from those who have gone before us paving the way for women today.
A single drum beat begins to call the audience to listen and then they are challenged to think of whose shoulders they are standing upon….who paved the way for them to be where they are on life’s journey. As several share the answer to the question, all in the room are taking their own journey down memory lane.
This keynote address on the topic of leadership is like no other! The traits and characteristics of leadership are presented using famous women and examples of how they illustrate and demonstrate leadership. There is interaction among the audience sharing their thoughts and ideas and how they present each trait and characteristic. The group then explores what “robs” women of being seen as leaders….which is an eye opener!
Then the audience is asked to come along on the journey as we continue to strive to be an effective leader. But first we must determine what is needed to be packed in the suitcase for the trip. On my! Some of the items that are packed, let’s just say are intriguing, funny, and serious.
And then you are asked to think of how you are presenting yourself as a leader? Who do you want to stand on your shoulders? Who will stand before a group of peers some day in the future and say they are standing on your shoulders.
Let the Leader’s drum beat within you.

We often experience the impossible dream, we want to fight the foe which may be our own self created limitations, we want to run in new directions and uncharted paths…..the impossible dream.
As the words of the song continue “This is my quest to follow that star no matter how hopeless no matter how far”, that is what it means for women to strive for the star. The words of the song end with “And the world will be better for this that one woman, scorned and covered with scars still strove with her last ounce of courage to reach the unreachable star.
