Greetings!

The NC mountain house is coming along so beautifully!

During my last visit the sconces and pendant lights arrived and oh my, take a look. The first photo is of the three pendant lights that are in the kitchen above the island. The long middle one is shining black, the one to the left is amber tahoe and the one on the right is red. For those of you who know me I just had to have a 'spot' of red in the house! They are all hung at different heights to add interest.

The next photo is of one of the sconces that will line the master entry into the house. There will be two on the wall as you enter the house and the other two will be placed on the stair case wall as you go up to the second floor. They are even more beautiful in person than in pictures. The colors match and enrich the wall colors and coordinate perfectly with the floor tiles. They are pieces of art.

The next sconce will be placed on the wall going up the stairs to the office. It too turned out more beautiful than we remembered when we placed the order. And this sconce is too a piece of art.

As we descend the staircase from the office I had to stop by and snap a photo of the outdoors, what a view!

In the kitchen we are selecting the back splash which will be a off white/tan rough tile in a variety of different sizes. This will provide a lighter look and will run below the window, and under the cabinets and behind the stove and up to the rim of the stove hood. Should look great!

In the powder room located just off of the master entry you can see the black piece of furniture that the vessel sink will sink on...the sink is glass and is a terracotta and red blend. Should be striking!

Let's head outside now and see the rain chain. We looked and looked for a unique chain that was in chrome to match the galvanized roofs. And we did! It is a tulip cup and it really works, fortunately it rained one day and we got to see it in action.

And of course a front look of the house, as you can see it is starting to look like a finished product now.

The next photo is of the boulders that surround the driveway pad, look how close they got the cement, looks like they were made for each other.

So that is it for now, will update you again soon!
