Color is on the walls!

Spring has sprung and color is on the walls! You may remember that the color scheme was developed from the kitchen tile. So there are some walls such as the one you see in the dining room that are copper wire or a terra cotta color,

then we have accented that with a lighter version called Rustic Adobe.

Remember when I mentioned that we were attempting to do something quite unique with the tile and wooden floors. Take a look….we refer to it as the river. It runs from the main entryway across the room through the kitchen/dining room providing separation. They took the tile, cracked it into small pieces and hand laid it into the cut out.

Next let’s see how some of the rooms are coming along. Here is one side of the laundry room.

The kitchen counter tops are installed now and they too are a swirl of color. We knew it would be either drop dead gorgeous or drop dead ugly! It turned out to the first option and are just beautiful.

The master bath cabinets are in and it is being painted “toasty”. We are hopeful it will be spa like with the rich color, dark wood, glass shower and lots of mirrors. You can be the judge of that soon.

Things are happening fast now. The appliances are arriving, the rest of the cabinets, handles, plumbing, oh my!!! It makes my head spin.

Until the next blog, take care
